Meeting of Minister Joachim Brudziński with Frontex Executive Director
On 4 April 2018, Minister Joachim Brudziński met in the Ministry of the Interior and Administration with Fabrice Leggeri, the Executive Director of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex).
During the meeting, they discussed key issues concerning the role and activities of Frontex, including cooperation with Poland, in the context of challenges at the EU's external borders. They also talked about issues related to the agreement on the functioning of the Frontex headquarters in Warsaw, signed on 9 March 2017.
The European Border and Coast Guard Agency primarily assists in managing the external borders of the European Union, monitors migratory flows and prepares periodic risk analysis. If necessary, it also provides member states with operational and technical support.
