Cooperation for security of the whole European Union
On Monday, 12 March 2018, Minister of the Interior and Administration Joachim Brudziński met with European Commissioner for the Security Union Julian King. Ministers Paweł Majewski, Krzysztof Kozłowski and Renata Szczęch also participated in the meeting.
The participants of the meeting discussed key issues related to internal security of the European Union, that is, i.a., fight against terrorism and cybercrime, protection of public space and interoperability of the EU’s databases. Minister Joachim Brudziński presented the Poland’s position on main challenges for the EU’s internal security and prospects for further cooperation of the member states in this field.
Poland is involved in cooperation with the EU, aimed at enhancing joint efforts as regards security of all citizens of the EU.
Last meeting with Commissioner Julian King, presided over by Minister Mariusz Błaszczak, was held in Warsaw on 9 October 2017.
