Secretary of State
Sebastian Chwałek was born on 2 May 1977 in Kraków. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University. In 2013, he started to pursue a doctoral degree at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Łazarski University in Warsaw.
Between 2005 and 2007, he was the head of the Legislation and Analysis Team at the Office of the Law and Justice Parliamentary Club. In 2007, he was a Counsel of the Prime Minister and the head of the Department for Parliamentary Matters of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, cooperating with the late Deputy Prime Minister Przemysław Gosiewski. Between 2005 and 2015, he was a deputy director of the Office – Head of the Legislation and Analysis Team at the Law and Justice Parliamentary Club.
On 18 November 2015, he was appointed an Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration.
